Adoption

Adopting a pet is more than just bringing home an animal. When you adopt, you add another member to your family. You take on another mouth to feed, another living mammal to look after and care for, another responsibility. We just want to make sure that everyone in the home is prepared for this process. When you adopt from us, we will ensure that the initial care for the animal has been provided, with some exceptions. We will make the transition to your home as easy as possible. Follow-up care, however, will be entirely your responsibility. What is included in the adoption fee is:

• Flea and Tick Treatments

• Dewormed

• Spay/Neuter

• All age-appropriate vaccines

• Tested for FIV and FeLV. Combo testing for FIV FeLV can be completed with an additional fee.

• Microchip

The first step to adopting is completing the online application.  The application will be reviewed and you will be contacted shortly after. We check all references given. If you are approved to adopt, we will reach out to you and complete the remainder of the process. An adoption contract will need to be completed and signed and you will receive a copy of all health records that we have available.
